Ordered steak and cheese burrito for entree. The steak was just ok, but it was just a tortilla filled with nothing but tiny pieces of steak. The cheese sauce was actually good. It came with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and lettuce on the side. You will get approximately one table spoon of guacamole, sour cream and lettuce, just pathetic. Others at the table has the same issue with very small portions. We ordered several deserts, every single one of them was extremely disappointing. One of the deserts was sopapillas with ice cream. They gave us about a tablespoon worth of ice cream for the plate with them. Service was subpar. My party of 5 was served well after a party of 10 that had been seated 10 minutes after us. The best part of the experience were the margaritas. They were very good and I was pleasantly surprised. Better than most actually. So overall, small food portions, average food, average to bad service, average prices, very good margaritas. If your going to get Mexican on the NE side, El Agave is better in almost every way. Won't give this place a second visit.
